Brian Antognini has been a member of CBRE New Jersey’s Investment Properties team since 2012. Led by Nat Gambuzza, his team provides a depth of advisory and transaction services to private investors, partnerships, lenders, and institutions of various net worth. Brian manages all facets of the team’s transactions throughout the deal lifecycle and facilitates the underwriting, marketing, and due diligence activities. He also helps coordinate communication with clients.

I’m part of an eight-member CBRE team here in Saddlebrook and we all use Apto to help with the sale of apartment buildings in New Jersey. Seven years ago, we were REA users. When we first took a look at Apto, it was obvious there was more functionality, better tracking, better sharing between team members, the software was cloud-based, etc. There were too many benefits to list and therefore making the switch was a no-brainer.

Today, Apto is the foundation of our business. As a team, we’ve databased all of the apartment buildings in our market with ownership records in Apto. Our sales brokers use that list to contact owners, take notes within the software and schedule follow-ups. If an owner isn’t selling right now, we make a note of their status and Apto reminds us a month or two down the road to follow up for another opportunity. The tasks and reminders feature alone has helped us find deals we otherwise wouldn’t have.

I personally use Apto for managerial and operational tasks, like monitoring our team’s pipeline. I track everything from our pursuits and listings to under contract, and closed deals. We use these pipeline reports to discuss priorities and next steps in team meetings.

When it comes to working with the Apto team, our experience has been seamless. Truly no complaints. You simply can’t be without it in our business.
