Getting started: System admins

Welcome to Apto! Here is how to get your users access.


Creating A New User

From the Apto homepage, click "setup."


Navigate to "Manage Users" on the left. Select "Users" and then click "New" near the top of the page.


Here you will be able to enter a new user's information.


  • First and last name (the alias will autopopulate)
  • Email address (the username will populate in the email)

On the right side of the page, select "Salesforce Platform" as the User License and choose the appropriate profile.


Scroll down the page. Complete user's address and time zone and click "Save."

After clicking "Save," an email will be sent to the new user with a link to activate their account and create a password.


Granting New Users Access to the Apto Package

Once a new user is created they will need to be added to the Apto package. To do this, you'll need to:

  • Navigate to "Installed Packages" under "Develop" on the setup page.
  • Click "Manage Licenses" next to Commercial Real Estate Broker.


Then click "Add Users." You will be taken to a screen where you can add users that have not already been given access to the Apto package.
